Silvis short story collection available
CLARION Randall Silvis announces the publication of "Incident on Ten-Right Road," his first collection of short stories since 1984 when he became the first Pennsylvanian to win the prestigious Drue Heinz Literature prize for his very first book.
Incident on Ten-Right Road published by Riverdale Avenue Books, NYC, contains six crime stories, including two novellas. The title novella is a prequel to the Ryan DeMarco Mystery series and features the tenacious DeMarco several years prior to the action of the first novel in the series.
These six short stories which include a Ryan DeMarco series prequel novella brilliantly showcase the author's compelling storytelling coupled with the deep characterization and exquisite prose for which he is known.
Murderers, drifters, and other unsavory characters are in these stories, but so too are those struggling to make the world a kinder and less dangerous place.
Praised by the New York Times Book Review as "a masterful storyteller," Silvis once again demonstrates that he can write short fiction as hypnotic as his novels, and with a distinctive and versatile voice that marks him as one of the best writers at work today.
