Aetna Better Health
The YMCA partners with Aetna Better Health Insurance to provide memberships at no cost. The program is simple and can cover everyone in the family who has this type of insurance.
Participants sign up at the YMCA and complete the required number of visits within 60 days and a full year of membership is paid for by Aetna Better Health. For more information contact April Dinger at (814) 764-3400.
Turkey Burner Challenge
The YMCA is challenging members to burn 3,000 calories Thanksgiving week, Nov. 25 through Dec. 2 in the Turkey Burner Challenge.
Exercise at the YMCA to help #burnthebird. The challenge fee is $12 and includes a T-shirt. Members should sign up for the challenge and register at the YMCA.
A Glow Zumba party will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the YMCA gym.
All participants will receive glow jewelry at registration. Ron Radacker and April Dinger will be leading the Zumba party.
Refreshments will be served at this event. The cost is a donation of $5 or more. Members and community are welcome to attend. Glow Zumba is a fundraiser for the YMCA annual campaign which helps those who cannot afford Y memberships or programs.
The YMCA offers group and private swim lessons for youth and adults. Group lessons are offered week nights or on Saturdays.
Private lessons can be scheduled at your convenience. Private lessons consist of four lessons per month.

The Clarion County YMCA is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The Clarion County YMCA is located at 499 Mayfield Road in Clarion.
