CLARION - The regular monthly meeting of the Craig E. Fleming American Legion Auxiliary Unit 66 was held Monday, Nov. 8.

Auxiliary membership stands at 375 members. Members can renew their membership by mail, online or by stopping in person at the American Legion. Members are reminded to get their new card before the current one expires.

Several events were discussed during the meeting. This year's veterans' dinner was held on Nov. 11 with social hour at 5 p.m. and dinner served at 6 p.m.

Members discussed upcoming Christmas events including decorating the American Legion Hall for Christmas at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21, decorating a 25 foot Christmas tree in Veterans Park dedicated to the veterans and active military members on Friday, Nov. 19 and Light Up night scheduled for Monday, Nov. 22. Any and all members are encouraged to help with these decorating dates.

The auxiliary is making plans to have a Christmas party for members sometime in January after the holidays.

The auxiliary meets at 6 p.m. the second Monday of every month. All active auxiliary members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
