Bauers celebrate 60th anniversary
Gerard and Agnes Bauer of 31257 State Route 66, Lucinda, will mark their 60th wedding anniversary today, November 19, 2020.
Gerard Bauer and the former Agnes Siegel were married November 19, 1960, at St. Michael's Church in Fryburg by Father Francis Theobald.
Mrs. Bauer is the daughter of the late Carl and Agnes Siegel of Marble. She is a housewife and business secretary for G.A. Bauer Trucking.
Mr. Bauer is the son of the late Ambrose and Regina Bauer of Lucinda. He is the owner of G.A. Bauer Trucking and is a farmer.
They are the parents of five children, Gregory and Kathy Bauer of Shippenville; Jeff and Cathy Bauer of Tionesta; Gary and Sharon Bauer of Tionesta; Scott and Jaclyn Bauer of Lucinda; and Eric and Betsy Bauer of Lucinda.
They are the proud grandparents of several grandchildren, Michael (Kayla) Bauer, Bryan (Vicki) Bauer, Brandon (Katelyn) Bauer, Jenny (Christian) Bauer, Kelly Bauer, Jacob Bauer, Ashley (James) Bauer, Josh (Brooke) Bauer, Ryan Bauer, Haley Bauer, Katie Bauer, Nathan Bauer, Morgan Bauer and Austin Bauer.
Three great-grandchildren, Ella Bauer, Reyna Bauer and Liam Pence complete their family.
Mr. Bauer is a member of the Knights of Columbus and retired honorary member of the Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department and enjoys hunting, fishing, biking, traveling and gardening.
Mrs. Bauer is a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department and Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church in Lucinda and she likes cooking, baking, gardening, biking, fishing and traveling.
They are both members of St. Joseph Church in Lucinda.
The couple will celebrate this occasion at the Deer Creek Winery on Nov. 27.
