Brooks was using Brian Burford’s T-shirt cannon to fire the shirts into the crowd. Brooks is the proprietor of the E-Z Dogs hot dog cart which can be seen around the area when the weather is good. KNOX - The Keystone School Board Jan. 16 approved actions moving forward the starting date for incoming superintendent Michael Hall and defining the position of "assistant to the superintendent."

ELK TWP. - The Elk Township Board of Supervisors will be chaired by supervisor Dave Polatty in 2023 as the township held its state-mandated annual reorganization meeting Jan. 3.

CLARION TWP. - Clarion Township will appeal the 2020 census results and the township's board of supervisors made very plain what is at stake at the board's reorganization meeting Jan. 3.

FOXBURG - For the Foxburg Borough Council, finding a spot to put the borough's savings where it would get the highest interest yield has been a challenge but the council made a decision at its meeting Jan. 9 which should ensure it gets the most out of its investments.

KOSSUTH - Ashland Township supervisors agreed Jan. 3 to purchase a new computer for township management and new tires for the township's Ford F-550 truck.

PAINT TWP. - One of the greatest rewards for an educator is for students to put learned concepts into practice and such an occurrence happened for Clarion County Career Center Director Traci Wildeson earlier this winter.

PAINT TWP. - The Shippenville-Elk Volunteer Fire Department is at a crossroads when it comes to having safe and effective firefighting gear and the organization came to the Paint Township Supervisor Board in search of help and the board is amenable to offering help.
