'Downtown' thanks council
The Destination Clarion Downtown committee Jan. 5 expressed its appreciation to Clarion Borough Council and Mayor Brett Whitling with gift baskets containing merchandise from the member businesses. We want you to know how much we appreciate your hours of service with meetings, phone calls, research, ideas and tough decisions, said spokesperson Jim Crooks. You have taken criticisms, been told off and even hunted down and you do all this without any compensation not a dime for your time, experience, knowledge or even gas.
