Clarion begins leaf collection

CLARION -- Clarion Borough residents can now rake their leaves to the curb for pick-up by the borough.

Leaf collection by the borough began Oct. 7 and will continue through Nov. 19.

Curbside collection is for leaves only. No limbs, branches or brush will be picked up.

Pick-up is scheduled for every Monday and Tuesday.

Clarion Borough Councilman and chair of the public works committee Earl Zerfoss asked resident to not call the borough office to complain if their leaves not picked up on Monday or Tuesday.

"They will get to you," said Zerfoss. "They will work on it other days of the week, too."

Residents can call the borough office for information about leave pick-up at 814-226-7707.
