An Aug. 5 morning fire that destroyed the home of a Crown couple along Hagerty Drive in Farmington Township has been ruled accidental. Two occupants of the home, Jimmy Jones, 83, and Janice Jones, 71, were transported from the scene to be treated for minor smoke inhalation, police said. Tpr. Russell Stewart, a deputy fire marshal based out of the Ridgway barracks, said the fire originated in the interior of the house. Responding departments were on the scene for more than three hours.
