BROOKVILLE JCHC helps kick off the start of the Laurel Festival beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 by participating in C.R.E.A.T.E.'s Art in the Park at the historic Brookville town square located on Main Street in Brookville.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on family day, Tuesday June 18, the JCHC Bowdish Crew will be running the trains. Come see the trains running down the tracks and whistling through the tunnels. Watch as the miniature residents of Brookville come to animated life. Admission is by donation.

On heritage day, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, JCHC and the Laurel Board co-sponsor "Victoria's Closet," a Victorian fashion show at the Opera House Caf on Main St. in Brookville.

JCHC is providing the replica costumes, made by Louisa Stiver of Oil City, to be modeled. Tickets are $15 at the Opera House Caf. Proceeds from this event benefit both JCHC and the Laurel Festival.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 21, JCHC will be participating in the community sidewalk sale all day as part of manufacturing and sidewalk sale day. Items found at this event are toys, games, T-shirts, jewelry, kids' books, shark's teeth and real fossils. Come and check out the variety of items for sale.
