CLARION — Stop Abuse For Everyone is a non-profit organization and a Clarion County United Way Agency. All Services are free and confidential.

SAFE provides services to victims of Domestic Violence, including:

A 24 hour hotline which provides for crisis counseling, information and referral, emergency arrangements and safety planning.

Emergency shelter for victims and their children in immediate danger. Advocacy and accompaniment in dealing with the legal process and other community resources.

Community education.

Educational presentations to schools and community groups on prevention and the dynamics of domestic violence.

Empowerment groups where victims can gain a renewed confidence and strength in dealing with domestic violence. Bridge housing, a transitional living program for homeless women and their children with or without domestic violence issues.

SAFE may be contacted between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 226-8481. For after-hours emergencies call 9-1-1 and ask to speak to a SAFE volunteer.
