North Clarion girls' XC seventh at states

HERSHEY Led by three finishers in the top 100, the North Clarion girls' cross country team finished seventh in the team standings at the PIAA Class A championships held at the Parkview Course in Hershey Nov. 2.

Rachel Bauer led the Wolves' contingent with a 65th place finish while Nicole Fair finished 85th and Kayla Aaron finished 97th.

Rounding out the North Clarion finishers were Jordyn Hendrickson who finished 105th while Katie Bauer was 117th, Haley Bauer was 140th and Addison Shaftic was 170th.

In the boys' race, Clarion finished 16th overall in the team standings with Nathaniel Lerch leading the Bobcats with a 34th place finish.

Clarion's Gavin Hoover finished 99th while Kaegan Phillips was 129th, Nick Frederick was 147th, Don Cunningham was 173rd and Nate Datko was 175th.

Other local finishers in the boys' race were Keystone's Koby Buzard who finished 64th, North Clarion's Jacob Bauer was 76th and Clarion-Limestone's Braden Rankin was 135th.
