Clarion 3, North Clarion 0

FRILLS CORNERS Clarion's Erica Selfridge amassed 12 points with eight aces and seven kills to help lead the visiting Bobcats to a 25-7, 25-9, 25-10 win over North Clarion in KSAC play Oct. 13.

Korrin Burns totaled 13 points with seven aces, nine kills and four digs for Clarion while Brenna Campbell doled out 22 assists while serving for 16 points and making seven digs. Payton Simko chimed in with six kills for the Bobcats.

Redbank Valley 3, Union 1

RIMERSBURG Redbank Valley's Alivia Huffman posted 12 kills to help lead the visiting Bulldogs to a 23-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 win over Union in a KSAC tilt Oct. 13.

Brynn Rearick added 16 digs for Redbank Valley while Montana Hetrick amassed nine kills and six points with two aces. The Bulldogs' Ryley Pago chipped in six kills with three blocks while Brooke Smith recorded 12 points with five aces and two kills.

Drew Davis paced the Golden Damsels with 11 kills while Kennedy Vogle made 12 digs. Dominika Logue chimed in with five kills and two aces for Union whilst Morgan Cumberland handed out 25 assists while serving for two aces.

A-C Valley 3, Clarion-Limestone 1

CLARION TWP. A-C Valley's Andrea Meals amassed 11 kills and 12 digs to help the visiting Falcons to a 25-19, 25-9, 21-25, 25-22 win over Clarion-Limestone in KSAC action Oct. 13.

Meah Ielase registered 17 points, 16 digs and nine kills for A-C Valley while Rachel Cullen had 20 digs and 10 assists. The Falcons' Tarra Stefanacci distributed 24 assists while serving for 12 points while Mia Sherman racked up seven kills, five digs and three aces.

Ruby Smith paced the Lions with eight kills while serving for three aces Celia Shafer had seven digs and five blocks. C-L's Kendall Dunn had 20 assists and nine digs while Brooke Kessler posted seven kills and three aces.

Keystone 3, Moniteau 0

WEST SUNBURY Keystone's Jozee Weaver piled up10 kills and seven points with five aces to help lead the visiting Panthers to a 25-15, 29-27, 25-21 win over Moniteau in KSAC play Oct. 13.

Sydney Bell contributed six kills and five blocks for Keystone while Ceayra Altman had 14 points with four aces. Alexandria Johnston added 16 points and 14 assists for the Panthers.

Redbank Valley 3, Oil City 0

OIL CITY The Redbank Valley trio of Montana Hetrick, Ryley Pago and Brianna Minich combined for 17 kills to help pace the visiting Bulldogs to a 25-16, 25-8, 27-25 win over Oil City in non-conference action Oct. 12.

Hetrick and Pago each had six kills with Hetrick also serving for six points. Minich posted five kills.

Redbank Valley's Savanna Boyer served for four points while Lilly Shaffer dished out 10 assists.


Clarion-Limestone boys win quadrangular meet, North Clarion's Bauer first in girls' meet

CLARION The Clarion-Limestone boys' cross country team had four top ten finishers to lead the Lions to a first place team finish at a KSAC quadrangular meet held Oct. 13.

The Lions' Braden Hetrick was second followed by Ty Rankin who finished fifth, Corbin Coulson, who finished sixth and Jack Craig, who came in ninth as the Lions finished with a 37 overall score. North Clarion was second with a 54 while Clarion posted a 61 and Keystone totaled a 73.

C-L's Colton Keihl added a 15th place finish.

The Wolves were paced by Kaine McFarland who finished fourth while Aiden Thomas was seventh, Aaron Lencer was 12th, Braden Custer was 14th and Owen Shaffer was 17th.

Clarion's Gavin Hoover posted a time of 18:00 to finish first overall. Hoover was followed by Philip Bartley who finished eighth. Keegan Phillips followed with a 10th place finish for the Bobcats while Milt McElravy was 20th and Owen Wilson was 22nd.

Keystone was paced by Koby Buzard's third place finish. Following Buzard for the Panthers was Josiah and Jonathan Hansford who finished 11th and 13th, respectively. Keystone's Caden Buzard came in 21st while James Dittman was 25th.

North Clarion's Rachel Bauer posted a time of 21:37 to win the girls' race as the Wolves were the only team with enough runners to qualify for the team competition. The Wolves' Jordyn Hendrickson recorded a second place finish while Brynn Siegel was fourth, Kayla Aaron was fifth and Emma Buckley was sixth.

Clarion was led by Bella Scott who placed third while the Bobcats' Grace Adams was 13th.

C-L's duo of Morgan McNaughton and Madison Aaron placed ninth and 15th, respectively.

Keystone's Samantha Heller and Lilly Sheatz finished 11th and 12th, respectively.

A-C Valley/Union's Theuret finishes first

SENECA A-C Valley/Union's Hailey Theuret finished first overall with a time of 23:40 but it wasn't enough as visiting A-C Valley/Union fell to Cranberry 25-30 in a KSAC dual meet Oct. 13.

Drew Whitcomb added a third place finish for A-C Valley/Union while Bella Hunt was seventh, Aletha Farrington was ninth and Kira Marsh was 10th.

Cranberry won the boys' meet by a score of 15-50.

Payton Johnston led A-C Valley/Union with a ninth place finish while Zackery Hawk was 10th.


Redbank Valley 2, Brookville 0

BROOKVILLE Redbank Valley's Alexandra Shoemaker scored a goal in each half to lead the visiting Bulldogs to a 2-0 win over Brookville Oct. 13.

Ember Hetrick recorded an assist for Redbank Valley while Gabby Dinger recorded the shutout in net.
