GOLF

YORK Clarion's McKayla Kerle placed 13th in the PIAA Class AA girls' golf and Kameron Kerle placed 15th overall in the Class AA boys' golf individual championships held at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort Oct. 18.

McKayla Kerle posted a 12-over par 84. McKayla birdied the 260-yard, par-4 sixth hole but she had six bogeys, two double bogeys and a triple bogey.

Kerle shot an 8-over par 79. Kameron birdied the 373-yard par-4 14th hole but seven bogeys and one double bogey.

Forest Area's Ethan Carll finished tied for 67th as he carded a 94. Carll had five pars, five bogeys, seven double bogeys and one triple bogey.

VOLLEYBALL

Clarion 3, Union 0

RIMERSBURG - Clarion's Korrin Burns totaled 11 kills and seven points to help the visiting Bobcats to a 25-13, 25-11, 25-16 win over Union in KSAC action Oct. 19.

Clarion's Noel Anthony dished out 19 assists and served for nine points while Adia Needham served for 16 points while making four kills. Aryana Girvan chimed in with seven kills for the Bobcats while Jordan Best served for eight points while making five digs. Payton Simko also had four kills and two digs for Clarion.

Hailey Kriebel had three kills for the Golden Damsels while Dominika Logue had two kills and Kennedy Vogle had nine digs and two aces.

Clarion-Limestone 3, Moniteau 0

WEST SUNBURY The Clarion-Limestone duo of Brooke Kessler and Ruby Smith combined for 22 kills to help the visiting Lions to a 25-22, 25-21, 25-9 win over Moniteau in a KSAC tilt Oct. 19.

Kessler had 14 kills while Smith smashed eight kills while also serving for four aces.

Kendall Dunn had 29 assists for C-L while Abby Himes had four aces.

Keystone 3, A-C Valley 1

KNOX Keystone's Jozee Weaver amassed 13 kills and six digs as the Panthers downed visiting A-C Valley 27-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-22 in KSAC action Oct. 19.

Alyssa Weaver dished out 18 assists, served for 15 points and made four digs for Keystone while Kennedy Kaye had 18 digs and six points. Natalie Bowser served for 18 points while making nine assists and three kills for the Panthers while Leah Exley had 12 kills and four aces and Sydney Bell posted nine kills and five blocks.

Meah Ielase led the Falcons with 17 kills and 14 digs while Jenna Stefanacci had 22 assists and 12 digs. Paige Klingler added 13 points and three kills for A-C Valley while Lexi Ruckdeschel had 11 kills and Mackenzie Parks totaled 11 points and 11 digs.

Karns City 3, Redbank Valley 2

KARNS CITY Redbank Valley's Alivia Huffman totaled 22 kills, 13 digs and six aces but it wasn't enough as the visiting Bulldogs fell to Karns City 18-25, 20-25, 25-19, 25-11, 12-15 in KSAC action Oct. 19.

Taylor Ripple followed with 12 kills for Redbank Valley while Carlie Rupp and Olivia Anderson registered 13 digs while Caylen Rearick made 45 digs. Lilly Shaffer had 33 assists for the Bulldogs.

North Clarion 3, Union 2

RIMERSBURG North Clarion's Amya Green posted 10 digs, seven kills and seven points to help the visiting Wolves to an 8-25, 25-16, 14-25, 26-24, 15-8 win over Union in KSAC action Oct. 18.

Ainsley Hartle chipped in 17 assists and 11 points for North Clarion while Emily Aites had seven points and four kills. The Wolves' Alana Brooks had 12 digs while Makenzie Lupole had four kills and two blocks.

Dominika Logue led the Golden Damsels with 12 kills, 10 digs and four aces while Keira Croyle had 12 assists and four aces. Kennedy Vogle posted seven digs for Union while Grace Kindel served for six aces and Hailey Kriebel and Taylor Shick had three kills each.

A-C Valley 3, Venango Catholic 0

FOXBURG A-C Valley's Meah Ielase had 11 kills and 11 digs to help the Falcons to a 25-12, 25-21, 25-12 win over visiting Venango Catholic in a KSAC tilt Oct. 18.

Jenna Stefanacci had 21 assists and three aces for A-C Valley while Lexi Ruckdeschel had five kills and three aces. Paige Klingler notched four kills for the Falcons.

Keystone 3, Punxsutawney 1

PUNXSUTAWNEY Keystone's Kennedy Kaye amassed 13 digs and 10 points with five aces to lead the visiting Panthers to a 25-11, 16-25, 25-11, 25-23 non-conference win over Punxsutawney Oct. 18.

Alyssa Weaver had 20 points and 12 assists for Keystone while Leah Exley had 13 points with six aces and six kills. Sydney Bell and Jozee Weaver each had seven kills for the Panthers with Bell also making four blocks.

Redbank Valley 3, Forest Area 0

MARIENVILLE Redbank Valley's Taylor Ripple had nine kills as the visiting Bulldogs took down Forest Area 25-7, 25-10, 25-11 in KSAC action Oct. 18.

Carlie Rupp and Alivia Huffman each had six kills for Redbank Valley with Huffman also serving for five aces. Lilly Shaffer added 10 aces for the Bulldogs.

GIRLS SOCCER

Forest Area 7, Oil City 0

TIONESTA Forest Area's Shawna Pack recorded a hat trick and had an assist to help lead the Fires to a 7-0 win over visiting Oil City Oct. 18.

Amber Guzzi added two goals for Forest Area while Emma McFarland had a goal and an assist. The Fires' Olivia Siegel also had a goal.

McFarlan made three stops in net for Forest Area.

Wow, what a weekend of racing to complete the 2021 season. Lernerville Speedway held their Steel City Stampede which featured 10 different divisions plus a 100-lap Enduro. The event took place over three days as Thursday night was practice for all drivers in all the divisions.
