LITTLE LEAGUE SIGNUPS
CLARION The Clarion Little League will be holding baseball and softball registrations for the upcoming season online starting Jan. 16.
The registration fee is $75 per child and $110 per family if registered on or before Feb. 13. Those who register after Feb. 13 will be charged a registration fee of $95 per child and $150 per family.
The costs shown does not include a $3 online transaction fee charged by Sports Connect.

COYOTE HUNT
The Clarion County Rod & Gun Club to hold its 22nd annual coyote hunt Feb. 17 through Feb. 19.
Hunters can register for the event from Jan. 1 until Feb. 18 at Sportsmen Outfitters in Knox.
Entry fee for the hunt is $10.
Participants must have a valid Pennsylvania hunting license or furtakers license and registration card.
Coyotes may be harvested anywhere in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Prizes will be awarded based on the number of coyotes harvested. If no coyotes are harvested, the money raised will be saved for next year's hunt.

POWERLIFTING EVENT
DUBOIS -- The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) is hosting the Winter Warrior Showdown in DuBois Jan. 20 and 21.
There will be three different weigh-ins to be held both Jan. 20 and Jan. 21. Weigh-ins will be held Jan. 20 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Jan. 21 from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Powerlifting begins at 9 a.m. on Jan. 21.
The cost for the event is $70 for all three lifts (Full Power), $50 for the bench/deadlift (Iron Man), $40 for bench lifting.
There will be awards for the top three finishers in the Full Power division while there will only be first place awards in the Iron Man and bench lifting categories.
There will also be a top team award.
This is a non-sanctioned meet but following USA Powerlifting meet rules and regulations.
The competition is open for all male and female competitors age 14 and above and there will be a number of different age and weight classes.
BASKETBALL DAY CAMP
CLARION TWP. Fun with Fundamentals will be holding a basketball day camp for boys and girls from June 19 through June 23.
The camp is for children ages 8 to 14.
The camp will be held daily from 9 a.m. to noon and there will be an awards ceremony from noon to 12:30 p.m. on the final day of the camp.
The cost of the camp is $150 per child.
Those who register before May 1, 2023 will receive a $5 discount from the cost of each camp.
There is a total of 18 hours of instruction and each participant in the camp gets a Dry-fit camp T-shirt.
The camp will be held at Joe Ferguson's Gym on U.S. Route 322 just west of Strattanville.
Campers should also bring a basketball, jump rope and water bottle.
